Ready Text SMS Consent and Opt-In

Ready Text SMS is a non-marketing client-service messaging program operated by S Meyers Enterprises, LLC DBA Ready Text. It sends attorney-reviewed case updates, appointment reminders, document requests, opt-in confirmations, and related messages for a participating law firm only to that firm's own consenting clients or authorized case contacts.

Ready Text does not use the Ready Text SMS program for affiliate marketing, third-party marketing, lead generation, or promotional messages.

How recipients opt in

Each recipient directly opts in before receiving any non-opt-in Ready Text SMS message. On a Ready Text-hosted intake or consent form, the recipient enters their mobile number and actively checks a separate SMS consent box that is unchecked by default. A submitter may consent only for themself as the primary contact and cannot opt in another contact.

The same disclosure may appear on a paper or e-signature retainer, intake, or communication authorization form signed by the recipient. Staff record the consent source and timestamp before messaging. A recipient who previously opted out may re-opt in by replying START or YES to the firm-assigned Ready Text sender.

Frequency, rates, opt-out, and help

Message frequency varies by matter. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of legal services. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help or contact your law firm directly.

STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL opts out. HELP or INFO returns help instructions. START or YES is accepted as a re-opt-in only from a recipient who previously opted out.

Mobile information and SMS consent

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers that operate the Ready Text SMS program (such as messaging carriers and platform vendors), solely to deliver, support, and secure the requested messages; those providers may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
