Ready Text SMS Privacy Policy

Program identity and scope

Ready Text SMS is a non-marketing client-service messaging program operated by S Meyers Enterprises, LLC DBA Ready Text. Participating law firms use Ready Text SMS to send attorney-reviewed case updates, appointment reminders, document requests, opt-in confirmations, and related messages only to their own consenting clients or authorized case contacts.

Ready Text does not use the Ready Text SMS program for affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or promotional messages.

Information we collect and use

We process mobile phone numbers, contact and case context, SMS consent choices, consent source and timestamp, opt-out requests, and message records. We use this information to provide the messages a recipient requested, honor consent choices, support the recipient's law firm, secure the service, and maintain compliance records.

Mobile information and SMS consent

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent are not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information only with service providers that operate the Ready Text SMS program (such as messaging carriers and platform vendors), solely to deliver, support, and secure the requested messages; those providers may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Your SMS choices

Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP. They may request help by replying HELP or by contacting their law firm directly. Message frequency varies by matter. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive Ready Text SMS messages is not a condition of legal services.

Public web-intake SMS consent is collected through a separate checkbox that is unchecked by default. The complete disclosure and control are shown on the Ready Text SMS opt-in evidence page.

Retention, security, and contact

We retain consent and message records as needed to operate the service, document compliance, and meet legal obligations. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect this information.
